Five years after a Great Blizzard froze the world, I sneaks into Fort Eden, begging its ruthless leader for food to save her mother. What I don't know: He has already lived through the Blizzard once. In the previous timeline, I died saving him. He activated a time alarm and returned to twenty-four hours before the disaster—then spent five years stockpiling supplies and building a fortress. Now he rules me with cruel rules, tests me with degradation and desire, and hides the truth behind a cold mask. But when betrayal erupts from within his own ranks, he protects me without hesitation, never to lose me again.
